Be a One-Tonne Challenge Energy Sleuth!

Attention all energy sleuths! Find ways you and your family can reduce their greenhouse-gas emissions by 1,000 kilograms (one tonne) or more.

Why? So you, your family and friends can have cleaner air, a better environment for animals and plants and the right temperatures for farms that grow our food.

Are you ready?

  1. First, get a pencil and ask an adult to help you fill out the Energy Sleuth Inspection Sheet to find ways each person in your family can meet the One-Tonne Challenge. You can download the Inspection Sheet to your computer for printing by clicking here. (Note: If you are using Internet Explorer, the document will open in the browser.   2. Then check out the Energy Sleuth Tips Sheet that includes 30 easy ways you and your family can reduce energy use. Share the tips with everyone in your family.
