Labs and Facilities

Environment Canada’s science serves several important functions. We use our research to track and manage wildlife populations, to improve understanding of ecosystems and support their recovery, to assess risk, to make weather and climate predictions, and to support policy and legislative action.

Environment Canada's laboratories and institutes represent a significant capital investment by the Department and deliver Science & Technology results which support all aspects of the Department's mandate.
