Welcome to the Student Youth Human Resource Centres of Manitoba
Information regarding wage levels, labour legislation, the availability of summer student labour, and other employment programs targeting students and youth.
The primary goal of casual work is to help students/youth gain valuable work skills, have fun, and make a little bit of money!
Summer Employment Officers visit schools, drop-in centres, or career fairs to set up a table packed with helpful resource material from the Student/Youth Human Resource Centre.
Labour Standards, Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth, Federal Student Work Experience Program and other useful links.
Summer Employment Officers are available to assist student/youth one on one with: resumes, cover and thank you letter critique/advice, individual job search strategies, interview preparation and exploring the hidden job market.
Volunteering is a lot of fun, a great way to meet new people, and a good way to give back to your community!
