This report explores two possible futures for Canada’s energy use. The supply push scenario would see gradual advance of technology and limited action on the environment; the techno-vert scenario represents rapid technological advance and an emphasis on environmentally friendly products and fuels. It evaluates several macroeconomic and energy price assumptions, and assesses both Canada’s energy demands and its energy supply.
