JOB DESCRIPTION: Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) offers jobs to qualified Aboriginal students through its Aboriginal Student Employment Initiative. It provides
candidates with practical and meaningful employment in scientific, technical, or other forestry-related fields.

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF POSITION: Various locations across Canada, including remote locations

THE DEPARTMENT WILL MAKE THE MAJORITY OF REQUESTS FOR REFERRALS BY THIS DATE: On-going.

DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT: Varies, according to departmental needs and student availability

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: English and/or French essential

FIELDS OF STUDY: Various

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Various skills for various positions

1. Only Aboriginal persons will be considered. Applicants must self-identify in their FSWEP application that they are an Aboriginal person.
