Student Employment

The CFIA hires students using the following student programs which are administered by the Public Service Commission of Canada (PSC).

• Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) is designed to provide full-time secondary school, CÉGEP, college, technical institute and university students with an opportunity to learn about the federal government and gain valuable work experience.
• Co-Operative Education Program (Co-op) is designed to provide post-secondary students enrolled in a co-operative program, with work assignments related to their field of study.
