Select a region to begin. | The Floe Edge Information Service of the Canadian Ice Service monitors floe edge positions within selected regions of the Canadian Arctic. Users can access daily satellite imagery and information important to the development and break-up of ice for each of these service regions. In 2003, the Canadian Ice Service, Noetix Research Inc., the Canadian Space Agency and Radarsat International Ltd will partner under the Northern View Project to provide regular RADARSAT-1 and Envisat ASAR floe edge images. |
