The Events listing links to trade shows, forums and other events related to the information and communications technologies (ICT) sector. Visitors can also use the “Other ICT Event Databases” to search for events sponsored by other ICT groups.

Trade Team Canada — Information and Communications Technologies — Search for Specific Activities
Users can click the "Search" button to find all future events related to information and communications technologies (ICT) and trade or they can search by event name, organizer/sponsor, sub-sector focus, country, number of exhibitors, or date of occurrence. Visitors may also add new ICT events to the list.

Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) — Events
CIPO is a special operating agency of Industry Canada. It administers the intellectual property (IP) system in Canada and disseminates IP information. The Events page lists IP events happening at CIPO and around the world.

Emergency Telecommunications — Calendar

This site links to past and future conferences, workshops and other events which may be of interest to those working in the field of emergency telecommunications.

These links provide access to Emergency Telecommunications Program activities in the regions, where there are details of programs and projects being administered locally, as well as how to contact your Regional Emergency Telecommunications Branch for further information.

Canada-Ontario Export Forum (COEF) — Calendar of Events
Through COEF, Ontario's regional trade network, trade partners provide programs and services to Ontario companies interested in international business development. Users can view upcoming events by date, country, event type, organization and sector.

ExportSource.ca: Trade Shows and Events
Team Canada Inc is a network of federal departments and agencies working with the provinces, territories and other partners to help Canadian businesses prepare for the global marketplace. The “Trade Shows and Events” page provides links to commercially focussed trade shows and other business events in Canada, the United States and abroad.

Quebec Regional Trade Network — Activities and Events Calendar
The Quebec Regional Trade Network provides companies in Quebec with the support and services needed to help them succeed in the international marketplace. Trade fairs, conferences and other events are listed by date in the “Activities and Events Calendar,” while upcoming trade fairs can be viewed in the “News” section.

Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) — Events
The CED promotes economic development in Quebec by emphasizing the creation of sustainable employment and by focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises and the development of entrepreneurship. Their Calendar lets you stay abreast of the different events headlining the excellence of SMEs across Quebec.

Canada Foundation for Innovation — Events
Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) is an independent corporation established by the Government of Canada in 1997 to fund research infrastructure. Check its list of upcoming and recent events.

Canada Research Chairs — Calendar of Events
The Canada Research Chairs Program stimulates research and innovation and helps Canadian universities retain and recruit world-class researchers and scholars. Its Calendar of Events page lists new lectures, conferences and events.

Canadian Space Agency — Special Events
The mandate of the Canadian Space Agency is to promote the peaceful use and development of space, to advance the knowledge of space through science and to ensure that space science and technology provide social and economic benefits for Canadians. Its Special Events page contains upcoming workshops, launches, meetings and conferences.

Competition Tribunal
The Competition Tribunal was created in 1986 and combines the expertise in economics and business with legal expertise which hears and decides applications made under Parts VII.1 and VIII of the Competition Act.


Copyright Board Canada — Upcoming Public Hearings
The Copyright Board was established in 1989 as an economic regulatory body empowered to establish the royalties to be paid for the use of copyrighted works, when the administration of such copyright is entrusted to a collective-administration society. Take a look at the "Upcoming Public Hearings" section for the dates, times, and location of future hearings.

Genome Canada — Conferences
Genome Canada is the primary funding and information resource for genomics and proteomics in Canada. Check its site for information on upcoming symposiums, workshops and conferences.

National Research Council of Canada (NRC) — Events
NRC is a leader in scientific and technical research, the diffusion of technology and the dissemination of scientific and technical information. The department, alone and with partners, hosts major conferences in science and technology and related fields. The "Events" web page includes both upcoming NRC conferences and conferences recently held.

Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) — Events
NSERC supports university research through grants and project research through partnerships of universities with industry, as well as the advanced training of highly qualified people. Check out the latest science-related conferences, lectures, workshops and seminars.

Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) — Upcoming Events
The NCEs is a partnership among universities, industry, government and non-governmental organizations aimed at turning Canadian research and entrepreneurial talent into economic and social benefits. The "Upcoming Events" section provides a listing of Network conferences and other events involving the NCEs including "Networks and Granting Agencies Events" and "Other Events".

Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada — Calendar of Events
The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada is an arm's-length federal agency that promotes and supports university-based research and training in the social sciences and humanities. Search its site for upcoming events by month, event type or keyword, or click the Search button to see its extensive list of workshops and conferences.

Standards Council of Canada (SCC) — Upcoming Events
The SCC is a federal Crown corporation with the mandate to promote efficient and effective standardization. Look for the latest meetings, conferences and other key upcoming events.

Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) — Business Events & Seminars
WD's mandate is to promote the development and diversification of the economy of Western Canada and to advance the interests of the West in national economic policy. The Business Events & Seminars page includes upcoming events and workshops supported by WD. There is also information on upcoming events and workshops of interest to small and medium-sized businesses in the West.
