Energy-Efficiency Technology

Energy users and energy providers play equally important roles in lowering greenhouse gases and significantly affecting the environment in a positive way. As a result, TEAM funds demonstration projects in areas such as the development of integrated, intelligent buildings and the improvement of community-systems management. TEAM and its partners also explore advanced industrial-process technologies and eco-efficient industrial systems that will help to lower GHGs and reduce costs for end users.

TEAM supports the development of integrated renewable energy sources and new energy-using and -producing systems. Results of such support include the development of new, alternative-energy-source vehicles, modes, and systems that have an impact in every sector.

• small- to medium-sized enterprises;
• municipalities;
• commercial-building and land developers;
• community-based coalitions and cooperatives; and
• transportation-product developers such as automakers.
