Hydrogen Economy
Hydrogen is readily available all around us. As a fuel, its by-product is water and it will never be in short supply. While hydrogen may seem like the perfect fuel, we must overcome significant obstacles before our homes, commercial enterprises, or automobiles can be powered exclusively with hydrogen.
TEAM and its partners – including industry groups and coalitions, international groups, small- to medium-sized enterprises, and policy developers – support hydrogen-related research and development in a number of areas that address our ability to use hydrogen in both stationary (providing energy to homes and business) and transportation applications.
The biggest obstacle involves the lack of a viable infrastructure that would support a hydrogen economy. TEAM addresses these issues and supports projects that develop "H2 villages", "H2 highways", and similar projects.
