Western Canada's Business Service Network
With a network of over 100 points of service across the West, small and medium-sized businesses in most rural and urban centres can easily access a range of business services through Western Economic Diversification's (WD) Business Service Network.
The Western Canada Business Service Network consists of several integrated organizations that provide entrepreneurs with the expertise they need to start a new business or expand their existing company. The network includes Canada Business, Community Futures Development Corporations, Women's Enterprise Initiative offices, Francophone Economic Development Organizations, and regional WD offices in Western Canada. Other partners delivering programs and services to small businesses in the West include federal departments, provincial and municipal governments and industry associations.

Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) :
Support community economic development in rural areas by assisting communities to develop and diversify their communities. Contributions support the operating costs of CFDCs in the four western provinces and provide capital for an investment fund. This investment fund provides financial assistance local SMEs to create and maintain employment in the community.

Canada Business :
Provide the public with a wide range of information on government services, programs and regulations and respond to enquiries regarding starting a new business or improving an existing one.

Women's Enterprise Initiative (WEI) :
Provide business guidance and services to over 40,000 women across the Western Canadian provinces, with loans, business counseling and skills training. |

Francophone Economic Development Organizations (FEDOS) : Provide enhanced services to Francophones, including training, access to capital, information services, marking advice, networking and marketing. |
