What types of projects have been approved in B.C. Communities?

Softwood Initiative projects offer immediate benefits including the direct creation of new jobs, leveraging private investments, and the establishment of dozens of new business opportunities in tourism, high-technology and value-added wood processing.

With these projects a new economic future will grow. Future economic growth will demand a focus on tangible, economic contributions in communities across B.C. that are witnessing the erosion of their job base due to the U.S. softwood lumber tariffs.
