National Capital Commission
Canada

Winterlude was founded in 1979 by the NCC as a means of celebrating Canada's unique northern climate and culture. In 2003, the NCC not only celebrated the 25th edition of Winterlude but also 25 years of volunteers participating in its programs and events. Every year, several hundred volunteers join the fun and contribute to the success of Winterlude, one of the Capital Region's major events. During Winterlude 2005, more then 800 volunteers gave more than 10,000 hours. The Volunteer Centre would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their commitment.

Join our team of volunteers!
