One of the ways to participate in the processes, deliberations and public dialogue of the Interagency Advisory Committee on Research Ethics (PRE) is by submitting your views and opinions on PRE's working documents or initiatives. PRE welcomes public comment on its position papers, particular initiatives, public consultation documents, draft recommendations, etc. on key areas of PRE's mandate, such as advancing the research ethics standards and practices of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS).

The period for commenting on particular documents varies and will be indicated in PRE's public calls for comments. A public comment period will typically range from 30 to 90 days.
