	On Sunday, October 31, 8:30am to 12:30pm at the Canadian Bioethics Society Conference (Calgary, Alberta), PRE will hold a session on 'New and Emerging Approaches to Research Ethics: Challenging the TCPS and our communities'.

September 2004	Update to PRE's Links & Resources page, including recent ethics norms or studies from the American Anthropological Association, UNESCO, European Union, US National Academy of Sciences, and UK Economic & Social Research Council.

	PRE convenes inaugural meeting of a Guiding Consortium for the Development of TCPS Ethical Guidelines for Research Involving Aboriginal Peoples, with representatives from the Assembly of First Nations, Métis National Council, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, Native Women's Association of Canada, Congress of Aboriginal Peoples, CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC & PRE.
