The following is a list of federal acts relating to our mandate and the institutions
we supervise. The FCAC is responsible for administering sections of the acts
designated as "consumer provisions."
The complete text of each act is posted on the Department of Justice Web site
along with most government legislation. For your convenience, we have also extracted
the consumer provisions and included them as downloadable files.
Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Act
This legislation establishes the FCAC, sets out our role and identifies the consumer provisions we are responsible for in other federal acts.
