Health Canada has released the January issue of the Canadian Adverse Reaction Newsletter (CARN).

The CARN is published quarterly, in January, April, July and October of each year. This publication is written for health professionals to alert them to potential signals detected through the review of case reports submitted to Health Canada.

The newsletter can be viewed on the Health Canada website at:
www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/medeff/bulletin/index_e.html

It is distributed over the MedEffect e-Notice list and is published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ). The newsletter is also available to pharmacists across Canada and other interested parties through a mailing list.
