  Applications by Rogers Broadcasting Limited (Rogers), to acquire the assets of the English-language television programming undertakings CHNU-TV Fraser Valley, British Columbia from NOWTV British Columbia Inc. (NOWTV BC) and CIIT-TV Winnipeg, Manitoba from NOWTV Manitoba Inc. (NOWTV Manitoba). The latter station is not yet in operation.
  The value of the transaction is estimated at $13 million. The allocation between the two stations is as follows:.
  - $12.25 million for CHNU-TV
- $750,000 for CIIT-TV
  Rogers is proposing a tangible benefits package of $1.3 million over seven years (10% of the value of the transaction). The benefits package is described as follows:
  - NOWTV Documentary Fund ($450,000)
- Aboriginal Faith and Spirituality Documentary Series ($300,000)
- Vision TV Independent Production Initiative ($200,000)
- Willard Thiessen Mentorship/Scholarship Program ($100,000)
- Comparative Religious Studies - Conference/Seminar ($100,000)
- Independent Producers Pilot Development Grants ($150,000)
  The applicant is also requesting licences to continue the operation of the undertakings under the same terms and conditions.
  As part of this transaction, Rogers is also seeking authority to amend the licence of television programming undertaking CHNU-TV Fraser Valley. This would enable Rogers to add a television transmitter at Victoria to broadcast the programming of CHNU-TV Victoria and its surrounding areas.
  The transmitter would operate on channel 21B with an average effective radiated power of 720 watts (maximum effective radiated power of 1,800 watts/antenna height of 273.7 metres).
