Public Hearing CRTC 2004-11
dated 22 December 2004 relating to a Public Hearing which will
be held on 28 February 2005 at 9:30 a.m., at the Fairmont
Hotel Vancouver, 900 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia,
the Commission announces the following: |

Valley, British Columbia from NOWTV British Columbia Inc. (NOWTV BC) and
CIIT-TV Winnipeg, Manitoba from NOWTV Manitoba Inc. (NOWTV Manitoba).
The latter station is not yet in operation. |

radio programming undertaking in Vancouver. |

The new station would
operate on frequency 93.1 MHz (channel 226C1) with an average effective
radiated power of 4,100 watts (maximum effective radiated power of
7,700 watts/antenna height of 617.7 metres). |

In addition, the applicant
proposes to operate a transmitter in Abbotsford to broadcast the
programs of the new FM station. The transmitter would operate on
frequency 88.5 MHz (channel 203B1) with an average effective radiated
power of 630 watts (maximum effective radiated power of 3,000
watts/antenna height of 339 metres). |
