Viewing and expenditure incentives for English-language Canadian
television drama – Extension of the deadline for receipt of comments
|
1. |
In Viewing and expenditure incentives
for English-language Canadian television drama – Call
for comments, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2005-81,
10 August 8 2005, the Commission, among other things,
sought comment on proposed targets for expenditures on English-language
Canadian drama programming by individual, private, conventional television
services and by the largest conventional ownership groups. |
2. |
In that notice, the Commission stated that
it would accept comments that it received on or before 11 October 2005.
The Canadian Association of Broadcasters has requested that the
Commission extend, by two weeks, the deadline for the receipt of
comments in this proceeding. The Commission is satisfied that the
request is reasonable. Accordingly, the Commission will now accept
comments that it receives on or before 25 October 2005. |
