Call for comments on possible regulatory amendments that would
expand the competitive access to inside wire – Request for
confidentiality

In Call for comments on possible regulatory
amendments that would expand the competitive access to inside wire,
Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2005-83,
15 August 2005, the Commission requested comments with respect
to the merit of expanding the application of the regulatory requirements
pertaining to access to inside wire owned by broadcasting distribution
undertakings. |

In response to that public notice, the
Commission received a request from Bell ExpressVu LP1
and Bell Canada (collectively, Bell) that a portion of their submission
be held in confidence. The Commission has decided to grant this request
in part. Accordingly, Bell has submitted a revised version of its
comments which includes information not previously available as part of
the public record. To ensure that other parties have an opportunity to
comment on this additional information, the Commission will accept
submissions addressing the additional information contained in Bell’s
revised filing, provided that such submissions are received on or before
2 November 2005. |
