ENvironnement JEUnesse, a youth environment non-governmental organization, is hosting a “Climate Village in Action” at the “World of Solutions” exhibition at the  UN Climate Change Conference in Montreal. The coordinator of the Climate Village, Anne Guillemette, has created a space that is comfortable, interesting, and action-oriented. Different NGOs will host booths in the “village”, while ENvironnement JEUnesse will be present for the entire two weeks of the conference. Each day focuses on a different theme. On Arctic Day, December 6th, youth from the “Students on Ice” program will be visiting. There are also hands-on activities and workshops such as composting demonstrations and waste audits, focused on what everyone, including youth, can do to combat climate change.
