Atmospheric Environment PredictionThis directorate provides leadership for all prediction activities of the Atmospheric Environment Program and is responsible for numerical weather prediction, national informatics and telecommunications. StructureThis Directorate includes four branches: National Prediction Programs and three others that form the Canadian Meteorological Centre -- Informatics, Operations and Development. The National Prediction Programs Branch leads and coordinates prediction programs among regional and central components. It also develops common approaches and promotes collaboration in the areas of production and dissemination systems and programs.
