Acts and Regulations
There are several acts and regulations that pertain to National Wildlife Areas, Migratory Bird Sanctuaries, hunting of migratory birds, environmental assessment and trade in wild animals and plants. These include the Migratory Birds Convention Act, the Canada Wildlife Act, the Wild Animal and Plant Protection and Regulation of International and Interprovincial Trade Act, National Wildlife Week Act, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, and the Contraventions Act. In addition there is the tabled Species at Risk Act - Bill C 33.
