Sixth Regular Session of the Canada-Chile Commission for the Environmental Cooperation, November 16, 2005, Ottawa, Ontario Dear _____________, It is my pleasure to inform you that the Council of the Canada-Chile Commission for Environmental Cooperation will hold its Sixth Regular Session on Wednesday November 16th, at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This Meeting will provide Paulina Saball, Executive Director of the National Commission for the Environment of Chile (CONAMA) and David McGovern, A/ADM International Affairs and Representative of the Honourable Stéphane Dion Canada’s Minister for the Environment, with an opportunity to review the implementation of the Canada-Chile Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (CCAEC) and to study priorities for further cooperation. As part of the Regular Session of the Commission, the Joint Public Advisory Committee will host a Public Session. All members of the public are invited to participate in the Public Session, which will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, beginning at 15:00, at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa. We invite you to attend this information session and to comment on the implementation of the Agreement, including the Work Program plus recommendations for future activities. If you wish to attend, we encourage you to register by faxing the attached registration form no later than November 9th, 2005. It must be noted that we are not in a position to provide travel support for this meeting. If you are unable to register in advance, you may register at the door. If you wish to make a presentation to the Council, registration by November 9th is necessary and please indicate your intention to speak on the registration form. As noted earlier, some written submissions may be read during the public consultations.
