THE SPECIES AT RISK ACT AND YOU

All Canadians have a shared responsibility to protect species at risk and ensure healthy ecosystems for future generations.

The way in which the Species at Risk Act will affect you will vary depending on the activities in which you or your organization are involved and the species at risk that may be affected by these activities.

Please select the option below that best defines your situation:

  • You manage federal land
(e.g. Prairie Farm Rehabilitation pastures, military training areas, etc.)
  • You own private land
(e.g. farming, cottage or home owners, etc.)
  • You visit federal land (under development)
    (e.g. camping, hunting, fishing, etc.)
  • You operate on federal land (under development)
(e.g. fishing, forestry, mining, shipping, etc.)
