Canadian Environmental Quality Guidelines are developed by the National Guidelines and Standards Office. At this site, you can find out about us, including what we do in Environment Canada and how we work cooperatively with the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) to develop Canadian Environmental Quality Guidelines which include:

You can purchase the first compendium of Canadian Environmental Quality Guidelines, accompanied by a searchable CD-ROM, from the CCME. Some technical documents are available from us either in paper copy or electronically.
