Highlights

United Nations Climate Change Conference

Canada is proud and honoured to welcome the world to a landmark event in the global effort to address climate change as, together with the City of Montréal, it hosts the United Nations Climate Change Conference from November 28 to December 9, 2005. In addition to being the 11th Conference of the Parties (COP 11) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, Montréal 2005 will be the first Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol since it came into effect in February 2005.
