Ozone Watch

MSC issues a weekly report on the state of the ozone layer over Canada. It is issued on Fridays using a two week average of the current ozone thickness compared to the pre-1980 averages, for the same time period.

The UV Index Forecast for Canada

The UV Index forecast is issued daily for locations across Canada.

Computer Generated Bulletin

Throughout the year, the UV Index is computer generated and issued as a bulletin. During the spring and summer season, this forecast may be changed by regional weather offices and is issued in the daily weather forecast.

UV Index Bulletin for Caribbean

The UV Index for the Caribbean Region is generated daily by the computer in Montreal.
