Introduction

The Harvest Questionnaire Survey (HQS) and the Species Composition Survey (SCS) are conducted annually to estimate the number of migratory game birds killed by hunters in Canada. Together, they make up the National Harvest Survey (NHS). This Progress Note reports on the harvest for the following hunting seasons: September 1991 to 10 March 1992 ("1991"), September 1992 to 10 March 1993 ("1992"), and September 1993 to 10 March 1994 ("1993"). Note that the 1991 data reported here are revised and replace data published earlier in Progress Note No. 204.
