Our MandateBased in Downsview, we are responsible for the advancement of the science program through the development of science-policy linkages, the provision of consultation and expertise in assessments of atmospheric issues, support on air issues and impact analysis. The goal of the Science Assessment and Integration Group is to contribute to the development of effective policies by providing policy makers with sound scientific assessments. Science advisors within the group lead the development of science assessments on air issues, globally, nationally and regionally. Advisors integrate scientific knowledge and prepare articles, reports, briefing notes, presentations, seminars and workshops as required for the effective transfer of relevant information to policy makers, the general public, science audiences and others.
