RICHMOND – A $25,000 grant to the Fraser Basin Council will support market development of biodiesel as a sustainable fuel alternative, Environment Minister Barry Penner announced.

CAMPBELL RIVER – A Campbell River man has been sentenced to three months in jail for illegally hunting and trafficking in wildlife meat.

SQUAMISH – Two Surrey men have pleaded guilty to illegally hunting a black bear and a migratory bird at the Mount Currie landfill near Pemberton.
