The Georgia Basin Action Plan (GBAP) is a multi-partnered initiative working to improve sustainability in the Georgia Basin. GBAP began as the Georgia Basin Ecosystem Initiative a five year program in 1998. This program was renewed as GBAP in 2003, it is expected that it will be renewed in 2008.
Key GBAP Activities:
The GBAP partnership has undertaken many projects ranging from
research studies, planning initiatives, monitoring, outreach
and education. These projects can be grouped under the following
