Our Thanks! My grade 1’s (2 classes: 52 students) learned much. Thanks for teaching us how to be sun safe. 2002
Thank you. We appreciated the opportunity to participate. 2002
Thank you for sending me that very valuable information. Although we didn’t do everything, we all learned a lot. The UV Index ray meter was very popular. Students had a turn when we went out for a run and they got better at predicting as time when on. 2002
I’d love to go into greater depth with my class next year. I had grade 1+2 this year and I’m slated for grade 4/5 next year. 2002
Thank you for the use of the raymeter. Our class found it very interesting. Three different kids would test it at the same time and in the same place but for some reason they always received different results. We’re not sure why this happened, but we still enjoyed the experience. Thank you very much. 2003
Our students had great fun with these instruments and learned about the dangers too. 2003
Merci beaucoup! Mes éléves et moi avons appris. C’était trés intéressant! 2003
Here is your instrument. Thanks the children learned a lot. 2003
Merci pour cet intéressant materiel. Les élèves ont beaucoup apprécie. 2003
Thanks so much for helping us with this project. This is a great idea and I’d like our class to become a part of the Sun Savvy School Club next year. Could you please keep us on the “Active” list if one exists. 2003
Our students enjoyed hearing the UV rating announced before recess. Our primary teachers enjoyed the lessons. 2003
I offered this program to our K/1/2 classes during the month of June. The students learnt a lot about the light spectrum and UV radiation. We conducted the sunglasses and sun screen experiment suggested in your resource manual and found our results very interesting. 2003
