ADDITIONAL MEDIA DEBRIEFING BY GOVERNMENT OF CANADA
REPRESENTATIVES AT THE WTO NEGOTIATIONS IN HONG KONG
The Sixth World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference is taking place in Hong
Kong, China, from December 13 to 18, 2005. International Trade Minister Jim Peterson,
Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister Andy Mitchell, and Senator Jack Austin, Leader of
the Government in the Senate, are representing the Government of Canada.
The Canadian delegation in Hong Kong will be providing an additional teleconference
debriefing for representatives of the media on Sunday, December 18, at 8:45 a.m. EST.
A media advisory will be issued if there are any changes or updates to the scheduled
briefing.
Media representatives interested in participating in the teleconference should call (613)
992-6490 to register and obtain the access code. Media representatives already
registered for debriefings by the delegation earlier this week will receive an email with
conference call details. There is no need to re-register.
