KNUTSON TO VISIT BRAZIL
Minister of State (New and Emerging Markets) Gar Knutson will visit Brazil from
March 21 to 26. As part of his mandate to raise Canada's profile in expanding and
dynamic markets, Mr. Knutson will meet with Canadian and Brazilian business
representatives in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Porto Alegre to discuss ways to
enhance trade and investment between our two countries.
During his visit, the Minister will participate in a seminar entitled "Brazil-Canada:
Furthering Business Development" organized by the Federation of Industries of the
State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN), and will officiate at the opening of an Export
Development Canada office in Rio de Janeiro.
