Criteria
More ways to learn, more ways to win! Club Sky was developed to encourage students to continue entering weather observations even after the subject has been covered in the classroom. We believe this will reinforce students' classroom lessons and make them more aware of the environment around them. Every Sky Watcher school is a winner, whether they earn additional prizes or not! Here's how the contest works ... Your school earns a point for each school day that you enter a weather observation into our Sky Watchers' database. Concerned about being away on a field trip or special project and mot being able to submit your Sky Watchers observations? Don't worry! Your school can miss up to five days of reporting per period and still qualify for a prize. Top schools for each period will be determined regionally, with a National Club Sky Champion decided at the end of the year. Names of the top schools will be posted on our Web site at the end of each contest period. Just for registering in the program ...
For each of the three Club Sky periods ...
For the school year 2005-2006 ...
Best of luck, and remember . . . the more observations you submit, the better your chances of being a Club Sky winner!
* in the event of a tie, other factors may be considered
