What's New?
What's new for the school year 2005-2006? Lots of things!
- We've developed a new poster, Understanding Fronts and Frontal Weather, that will be
shipped free to every school that registers in the program this year.

- And we've increased the number of ways you can win prizes just by being an
active Sky Watcher school:
- every school that registers by October 28 will be eligible for our
draws (by province or territory) for a free weatheradio (alternate
prizes will be given to schools outside the range of our network).
- all schools that enter at least 10 observations in any contest period
will be entered in a draw for a free weather ball barometer.
- Canada's top Sky Watchers school this year will win an automatic
weather station for their school, in addition to prizes awarded by each
region.
- And of course, by entering at least five observations in each of our
three contest periods, you earn free registration for next year!
For more information on this year's prizes, visit Contest
Prizes.
Whether you're a returning Sky Watchers school or whether you're new to the
program, there's still time! Why not take a few minutes to look over this
year's options on the Program Description
