Free Teachers' Guides
Environment Canada has developed free teaching material on the topic of
weather to address the needs of both elementary and secondary school
teachers. All of the material is offered in html and pdf
formats, for easy viewing or downloading.

Guide to Weather provides unique resources that address the weather-related
learning outcomes of the Pan Canadian curriculum. |

Meteorological and Oceanographic Society, this high-school level material
was adapted from Project ATMOSPHERE modules with the permission of the
American Meteorological Society. |

This user-friendly material explains in simple
terms the basics of weather. It's filled with fast facts,
activities, and experiments to help you help them. You
can use this guide as a stand-alone resource, or you can join in the
program and make science class the best part of your students' day! |

Fourteen different modules deal with a variety of weather topics from
Coriolis Force to Hazardous Weather and from El Nino to the Jet Stream. Each module also contains
classroom-ready activities that can be copied for your students' use. |
