Canadians trying to reach relatives or friends in the affected areas should contact the Emergency Operations Center toll-free in Canada at 1-800-387-3124. In Ottawa at (613) 943-1055
Canadians in the affected areas who wish to report on their safety should immediately contact the nearest consular office.
