Maintaining Air Quality in a Transboundary Air Basin: Georgia Basin-Puget Sound

This report (HTML ; PDF) was prepared by Environment Canada and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with input from Health Canada. EPA and Environment Canada are the lead agencies for the U.S. - Canada Border Air Quality Strategy pilot project, Maintaining Air Quality in a Transboundary Air Basin: Georgia Basin-Puget Sound, announced by Environment Canada and the U.S. EPA in Washington D.C., in June 2003. A major focus of this pilot project has been the development of the Georgia Basin-Puget Sound International Airshed Strategy. The purpose of this report is to summarize actions and initiatives undertaken by the partners involved in this pilot.
