Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation on Addressing Climate Change
Government Actions
On May 21, 2004, the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation on Addressing Climate Change. The governments have agreed to pursue cooperation in the following priority areas:
- Electricity supply and renewable energy;
- Energy efficiency, conservation and fuels;
- Environmental management;
- Innovation and technology;
- Land resources and agriculture;
- Impacts and adaptation; and
- Public awareness and education.
