Softwood Lumber: What is the Embassy Doing?

The Canadian Embassy, located in the heart of Washington, D.C. between Capitol Hill and the White House, is a vital center of communication, advocacy and relationship building between Canada and the United States. Our officers work to monitor the events and activities that occur, report on matters pertaining to Canadian interests and maintain strong relations with U.S. leaders and policy makers. In the area of softwood lumber, the Trade and Economic Policy section acts as a liaison between Canada and the United States.
