The Government of Canada's commitment to renew and strengthen public health includes the establishment of a series of National Collaborating Centres (NCC) for Public Health. Their mission is to translate existing and new evidence produced by academics and research in public health. The centres draw on regional, national and international expertise and collaborate with various organizations, including the provinces and territories, academia and non-government organizations.
