TDC's library houses a major Canadian transportation research collection, consisting primarily of journals and technical reports in the following areas of transportation research:

• air and marine navigation
• flight safety
• icebreaking
• road and rail safety
• energy conservation and alternative fuels
• environmental aspects of transportation
• accessible transportation
• human factors
  • fatigue bibliography

Selected material is available in audio and video cassette format. A list of approximately 200 serials currently received by the Library is available upon request.
