What we do?

The Communications Directorate is the functional component with responsibility for comprehensive departmental communications management. Its duties include advising managers with regard to communication policies, strategies and programs and carrying out functional duties in these areas.

Communications covers four main areas: research, analysis and evaluation; consulting and expertise; planning and strategy; and communications management. The duties of the Communications Directorate, therefore, fall within these four main areas.
