Val d'Or Airport is the largest airport on the route toward James Bay and northwest Quebec. It has complete facilities (terminal building, control tower fire station, maintenance garage) and is served by six scheduled airlines carrying about 90,000 passengers yearly. The roughly 20,000 aircraft movements registered annually are distributed among business flights, charter flights and specialized flights.
