Railway Safety Consultative Committee
The Railway Safety Consultative Committee:
- provides a forum for open communication between Transport Canada and their stakeholders
on railway safety and environmental issues
- informs parties including railway companies, railway labour unions, other government
bodies and representatives of the public
- establishes action priorities for the development of regulations and rules
An Executive Committee was
established for the following purposes:
- reviewing and prioritizing railway safety and environmental issues
- reviewing the progress of working groups
- establishing the RSCC agenda
