Audit and Evaluation Reports
Audit and Evaluation conducts each year a series of internal audits, evaluations and other reviews. Reports are then produced which present findings on strengths and weaknesses, along with recommendations for remedial measures that need to be implemented. The purpose of these reports is to provide management with assurance regarding the economy, effectiveness and efficiency of Environment Canada's programs, policies, and initiatives and the accuracy of the information reported to central agencies and Parliament. The ultimate goal of audits and evaluations is to improve Environment Canada's management capacity and program delivery.
