Informing Canadians 2002: Highlights of the 2000 National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) is a new NPRI annual report. It provides a snapshot of pollution from industrial and commercial companies in Canada in 2000. In addition to marking progress on sector and pollutant releases, disposal and recycling trends, other highlights include special sections on toxic substances, pollution prevention, managing pollution in Canada and tips on how communities & individuals can use the NPRI. This report is complimented by the technical NPRI annual report, the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) 2000 National Overview.
